I got my first TRS-80 when it came out and I was a senior in h. school. I got the whole package. I had a Microsoft FORTRAN compiler which was interesting. I still have manuals for IBM FORTRAN and COBOL dated 1963.
Now my latest system is a tablet PC. OneNote 2003 is really nice when it is used on a tablet PC. Especially since I'm handwriting recognitionally challenged. I've found that it's more concise using the keyboard to enter information, but it's a very nice tool.

At work, I help develop Window-Eyes. We get to do things with Windows not destined for the faint of heart. The latest item that has been released and that we're really proud of is support for Vista. I need to express gratitude to Microsoft for helping with a week in WA to have direct access to their developers while we were solving the technical problems. Not to ramble too far afield, but it was eye opening to see how uncomfortable (or rather totally avoidant) they were about seeing any of our code, even trivial stuff. Not an evil empire as much as just a really, really big empire.
